ZEC’s Previous All-Time High Moves Within 3%

Mandelbrot shifts from recovery framing to a live test of the old peak.

Mandelbrot said the previous all-time-high retest was less than 3% away, then followed with the stronger declaration that ZEC was already retesting the old peak. The day’s chart flow treats the former ceiling as the immediate decision point rather than a distant target.

Interactive Brokers reached new all-time highs on Mandelbrot’s chart. He tied the move back to his August 17 thesis: customers pay thousands to tens of thousands in annual fees, margins exceed 70%, and rates remain sticky.

ZEC Recovery Gets the GIF Treatment

Mandelbrot posted a dedicated ZEC visual as the recovery accelerated. The minimal caption — “$ZEC” — let the chart carry the call, immediately before his sequence of previous-ATH updates.

“Put the Infinite Supply Back Away”

As the old high came into play, Mandelbrot joked, “Ok put the infinite supply back away, we are retesting previous ATH.” The line marks a sharp sentiment turn: dilution anxiety was shelved, at least tactically, in favor of watching price challenge the prior record.

The Retest, From a Second Angle

A companion chart reinforced the same ZEC level from another view. Mandelbrot’s language remained direct: the previous all-time high was no longer merely approaching; it was being retested.

“Thanks for Playing?” at the ZEC Short (no chart)

Mandelbrot replied “Thanks for playing?” to another trader’s stated small ZEC short from $840 ahead of the Grayscale ZEC ETF debut. The quoted trader framed it as effectively short ZEC/BTC and cited a ratio near 10–11x versus roughly 5–6x year to date; those position details belong to the quoted trader, not Mandelbrot.
